Released for production in May of 2005, the vertical WALLRACK™ by Cycle-Safe® is an innovative new bike hanger that has a clever wheel “cage” which allows the user to not only hang the bike vertically in a space efficient design with excellent bike support, but also to lock the front bike tires and frame through the cage with common cyclists' D-lock to deter theft while in storage.

The clever “cage” design gives tremendous added value and security to a traditional bike owner as compared to the plain hook on the market currently. The space savings is specifically designed to maximize the number of bikes parked per square foot. By hanging bikes vertically, the WALLRACK™ virtually doubles your bike parking capacity. The WALLRACK™ by Cycle-Safe can be ordered in nearly any length to fit any space and can be added onto in the future. Bikes are staggered in height, allowing handlebars to offset and not interfere with each other. Bike position is controlled, bikes won’t flop around and no scratches. No lifting, bike rolls in and out, kids have no problem using it.
Options include a wall mounted, single sided option (see Fig. 1), Island Format (see Fig. 2) for 4, 8, or more bikes, a freestanding custom metal channel structure (facing either direction) for Wall Format (see Fig. 3), or a simple wall-mounted, single sided option (see Fig. 3). Bikes hang vertically on one or both sides of the custom framework. The rack structure can be anchored down with anchors per foot.
The WALLRACK™ by Cycle-Safe is targeted toward campus, transit stations, multi-family units, work sites, and residential use through mass merchants, sporting retailers, and specialty bike retailers. The WALLRACK™ by Cycle-Safe will be sold as a set of two, or two sets of two, or more for family packs. Custom island stanchion support structures are available as an option. Space bikes as tightly or loosely as you prefer (minimum 16-inch centers recommended).

Finishes available in polyester powdercoat colors - black, blue, red, silver, white or WALLRACK™ in stainless steel.
Multiple Mounting Options
WALLRACKS™ by Cycle-Safe are fabricated of heavy welded 3/8-inch diameter wire and have two fastening holes for up to 3/8-inch lag bolt or optional security bolt attachments.
• The rack has mounting holes for up to a 5/16 dia. lag screw type fastener at two locations on the back side.
• The rack has tamper resistance security for the lag screw head when a bicycle wheel is locked in the rack.
• Optional tamper resistant security screws available.
• The rack has a heavy-duty wire framework which will take abuse.
• Rack has unique design which offers security allowing use of “D” locks to secure bike frame and front wheel to Wallrack.
• Attach other bicycle equipment such as helmets, gloves and the like under the rack. Multiple Mounting Options
• Combine with special mounting brackets to store 2 or 3 bikes in the same space!
• Horizontal Rail System allows storage of more bikes on the wall!
• Multiple racks can be placed at either a 45 degree or 60 degree angle to wall to reduce depth of bike parking service area.
